100 Miles - The Gran Fondo!
This is the big loop! This course is guaranteed to challenge any rider. With multiple
climbs, descents, amazing scenery, and traffic free roads, this could just be one of
the best rides in the country! You will hit the major climbs of the Watershed, Saluda
Grade, Old 25, Mount Olivet, and finally finish on top of Caesars Head. And if that's
not enough, every rider will get an overall ride time and placing. Are you up for The
Challenge?
Cost for this ride is $45. There are fully supported rest stops and a catered lunch at
the start area afterwards. You will have to ride back to the start area from the top of
Caesars Head. It's about 8 miles, 7 of it is downhill, you can do it! Just use caution
when descending Caesars Head, there are a lot of switchback and there will still be
riders climbing.
